Legendary and Special Pokemon
The Regi's

Regirock | Regice | Registeel

After you beat the Elite Four you are able to unlock the three Regi's the legendary trio in Pokemon Emerald Version.

First you gave to have the Pokemon Relicanth (found underwater) and the Pokemon Wailord (found evolving Wailmer or Route 129 (very rare))

When you have all the Pokemon in the party (including a surfer, diver and digger) fly to Pacifidlog Town (little dot east of Slateport on the map). Surf west, while trying to keep to the rocks and the tides at the bottom of the screen, and surf until you land in the place in the picture, when there surf straight from the exact point that the character is standing at.

When you get to the dark patch dive down then go through the passage and down till you get to the point in the picture below.

When you get here dive and you'll end up in a cave with lots of braille run to the back to the cave (picture below) and read the braille (even if you don't understand it) and use dig.

After the hole opens in the wall run to the back of the cave put Wailord first in the party and Relicanth last, read the braille and you'll see the screen shake, then you'll hear three doors opening 'far away'. Congrats you have just unlocked the three Regi's.

Now it's time for the legendary rock pokemon of the trio Regirock. Regirock is a pretty strong pokemon with good attack and special defence and high defense (the opposite of Regice). It has more weaknesses than Regice but at the same time, more resistances.

To get to Regirock you have to fly to either Lavaridge or Mauville, Lavaridge is a bit shorter but it doesn't really matter. I'll be going from Lavaridge. First fly to Lavaridge and get a pokemon that knows Rock Smash, then leave the town and go down the ledges (pick up the nugget on the way if you haven't already) and travel east towards route 111 and the desert.

After entering the desert go south and battle or avoid the trainers on the way (watch out for wild battles and the sandstorm) you'll see the Desert Ruins and the entrance waiting for you (further south you can get the TM Sandstorm).

Now go inside, go up to the braille and read it. Then take two steps to the left and two down and use Rock Smash. You'll hear and see the cave open. Walk through and you'll be face to face with Regirock. Go up save and Battle, and battle it the same way as you did with Regice but focus more on special attacks to bring it down, and hopefully you'll have yourself a Regirock. Go forth and catch that Regirock.

After you unlock the Regi's you'll finally be able to go and catch them. The first of the three is Regice the mystical Ice legendary pokemon with good defense and special attack and high special defense (great to get rid of those annoying dragons). Make sure to bring a team to fight a lvl. 40 and it would be good to have some pokemon to put it to sleep.

To get to Regice you'll have to go to either Petalburg or Pacifidlog, I'll be doing the guide from Petalburg. First fly to Petalburg and surf south from Petalburg beach keeping to the west line of rocks (left side of the screen) until you get to a sandbar with a running ruin maniac as shown.

Surf around the sandbar until you got to the island cave as shown below. Go inside and read the braille.

After reading the braille, go around the cave clockwise (going right), sticking to the walls; don't move from the walls. Walk around till you get back to the braille and the cave will open. Go inside and you'll see the now awoken Regice go up save (not saving is a mistake made by many people) and battle it, try not to use a type weak to fighting as it's superpower attack might wipe it out, best strategy is to put it to sleep and wittle down it's HP. Use physical attacks as they'll be more effective and try and get a false swiper if you can because that will help enormously. Good luck and I hope you catch yourself a Regice.

Last but not least Registeel The first steel legendary Pokemon, Registeel, unlike the other Regice and Regirock, has many resistances and even an immunity. But it has much higher defense stats than offense, so won't be too strong on the battlefield.

To find Registeel you'll need a Pokemon that has flash and good against steel (Fire, Fighting or Ground) but not too powerful. First fly to Lilycove and travel west past the safari zone and up to the woman who gives you a berry after asking you about love.

Walk up the steps near her, through the grass and up to the Ruin Maniac who says that he see no entrance. Go up to the ruin and walk in.

Now that your in walk up to the back and read the braille then walk to the middle of the room (exactly four tiles down) and use flash. Walk through the tunnel and you'll be facing Registeel. Walk up save and battle. Now with Registeel you will have to try for it's weaknesses as it has equal defense and sp. defense so use the same strategies as before, try not to use Pokemon that it's strong to and hopefully you'll have caught your first steel legendary, Registeel.
