Hacked Pokemon Identification Guide
With the release of Diamond and Pearl came Wi-fi and the GTS. And unfortunately it is very likely that you’re Pokemon is hacked. This guide will help you figure out if you have a hacked pokemon. Even if a pokemon passes these checks it is not guaranteed that the pokemon isn’t hacked.
It is usually very easy to tell if a pokemon is hacked, here is a list of
some ways to find out:
1- Check the location, if the pokemon location impossible it is hacked.
For example, a level 5 Dialga caught at Snowpoint City.
2 - Check the stats, if the stats are higher than possible for that pokemon,
it’s hacked.
3 - Check the moves, if the pokemon can’t learn those moves it’s hacked.
Remember to check any possible egg moves that it could have.
4 - Check the contest stats. If all of them stats are maxed out it is usually
hacked.
5 - Check the pokeball that the pokemon is caught in, if it is in a pokeball that it can’t be caught in it is usually hacked. For example a if you get a Chimchar in a Great Ball it is definitely hacked.
6 - Check the Exp. if it has a ‘?’ it is definitely hacked.
7 - A very good way to find out if your pokemon is hacked is to copy it to Pokemon Battle Revolution, look at the Pokemon in Storage, and if it says ‘bad egg’ it is hacked. This method only works with badly hacked pokemon.
These are the easiest and usually most obvious ways to tell if a pokemon is hacked. If there are more, just post about it in the forums.
