Pokemon Red and Blue
Welcome to the Pokemon Red/Blue main page. As the first Pokemon games to exist, they are loads of fun despite the outdated graphics. Red's mascot is the fire dragon, Charizard, and Blue's is the hydro cannon Pokemon, Blastoise. Both of these Pokemon are still popular among trainers today, considering the new Pokemon.
You start your adventure in Pallet Town, Kanto, and have a choice between three Pokemon - Charmander, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle. The objective of the game is simply this - become the greatest Trainer in Kanto - and have fun on the way there.
Being Pokemon's first Game Boy game, and although the graphics leave a lot to be desired, this is one of those games you can play over and over again. You can trade with others, import into G/S/C, and find loads of programming "mistakes" in the game - MissingNo and Mew to name a few - without a cheating device.
